Your question does not make sense. If the person is a Hall of Famer they are in the Hall of Fame. A current player cannot be in the Hall of Fame. He has to retired for 5 years before he can be elected.

O.K I'm guessing you are asking how many total players are in the hall of fame. About 286 players which has 199 mlb players,35 from the Negro league, 26 executives or pioneers,18 managers, and 8 umpires.
With Gossage and the various VC selections this year (membership counts from the announcement; the induction ceremony is, well, ceremonial), the count is 288. Edit: nope, it's 286, my misread.
