Do you think Derek Jeter will be in the Baseball Hall of Fame after he retires from baseball?

I am for sure Derek Jeter will be in the Hall of Fame but I do not think he will make it on his first ballot.

  6. If he continues to play at the level he's played at for the last ?? years then yes he'll be a first ballot guy. If he goes out prematurely, I dont see it happening.

  9. Yes he will go to HOF. He is one of the most prolific winners in MLB history and one of the games great all-time clutch players. Plus he will also have over 3000 hits at the rate he is going.

  11. If DJ went down right now for good (which would be to my horror, as I am a huge Yankees fan), he would be a first-balloter already. In the long-held discussion regarding the best shortstop in the game today, I feel that he wins hands down, based mainly on his performances in "big" games. Even in the Yanks' star-studded lineup, if you need a big hit, who would you choose? Jeter, of course......

  13. I think he has had a young career so far even though he has been playing at a high level for several years. If he gets to the 10-12 year mark with the same level of play, I think definitely yes. I am not a Yankees fan, but he is one of the games best SS. If he stays healthy and plays at this level, he will be one of the games best at that position.
