  1. Who cares? Kenny Lofton sucks.
  2. NO WAY! He's always been a good player and can fit into anybody's system, but he hasnt has HOF numbers and to be a HOFer you have to be the best player in the league at one time or another, thats not Kenny Lofton
  3. no, he sucks. GO YANKEES!!! YANKS WILL BE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS THIS YEAR!!!
  4. I'm afraid not. Lofton has been good, but never really great. Besides, He wouldn't know which hat to wear at his induction ceremony.
  5. lofton has about as much chance at cooperstown as emanuel lewis (webster) making the basketball hall of fame.
  6. He's certainly had a very good career, but I think he's short of HOF honors. He does have 600+ SBs, but with only 2400 hits and no MVP or GG awards, it's going to be very tough.
  7. Get serious.
  8. maybe,,,
  9. I dont think he will make it, but he would wear an Indians hat if he did. Its were he "got goin'".
  10. Kenny has excelled in many catagories including Playoff game appearances.as well as : Most Playoff Steals (Record) 15th all time in steals 91st (alltime Batting average) .299 6-time All-Star (1994-1999) 4 -time AL Gold Glove Winner (1993-1996) AL At Bats Leader (1996) AL Hits Leader (1994) 2-time AL Singles Leader (1993 & 1994) AL Triples Leader (1995) 5-time AL Stolen Bases Leader (1992-1996) 6-100 Runs Scored Seasons: (1993, 1994,1996 & 1998-2000) 1- 200 Hits Seasons: (1996) 6 - 50 Stolen Bases Seasons: (1992-1996 & 1998)
  11. I was just thinking about that as I saw him excel last night! I was pretty sure that I never considered him the best CF in the game, but thought maybe he would qualify under the idea of being really good (not great) for a long time is a kind of greatness itself. However, I don't think he makes that standard, either. His highest OPS+ is 143 way back in 1994. His second best is 121 in 1993. For most of his career, he has been a few percentage points better than average without really having bad years. Fielding? His raw numbers, not the whole story but a place to start, are just above league average. League leading numbers are almost all in stolen bases, but he is low in leading in anything. He's most similar to Ken Griffey, Sr., a fine player but not a hall of fame member. So I would say no. But watch out for Kenny Lofton, Jr.!
