Will Barry Larkin and/or Fred McGriff be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in the future?

I think that Barry Larkin will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame but Fred McGriff will not.

  1. I think they both will. Larkin was a great shortstop and was a star at the position before it became the star position. If you asked a year ago about McGriff, I would say no. However, with the steroid scandal, McGriff's numbers look a lot better. He was a solid power hitter who didn't amass his numbers suspiciously over a few seasons, but consistantly over a long period of time. I think he stands a good chance at getting in for the backlash of steroids and writers wanting to show that the "monster stats" aren't all that matter.
  2. I think Larkin will get in. He played on a mediocre team most of his career but has a World Series ring and an MVP trophy to show! Lets not forget the all star games hes been in also.
  3. yes, Larkin has all-stars, gold gloves, rings and MVP. He and Visquel were the best at their position for several years. Yes, McGriff hit a lot of HR over 20 yrs and NO ONE suspects him of cheating with steroids. Only Murray and Griffey hit more in his generation (the cheaters don't count). Steroids have KILLED the national past time.
  4. larkin should make it he helped make the ss posititon more than just a defensive position mcgriff is tricky the numbers say he should be but he is one of those guys that is always over looked i think he will get in just not on the first ballot
