Who do you think has the best chance to break Joe DiMaggio's 56-game hitting streak?
Out of all the great hitters that are in the majors today, who has the best chance to break one of the most unbreakable records in baseball and why.

- Ichiro of course.
- Jesus Christ.
- furcal of the dodgers
- Mauer he is just a pure hitter who uses the entire field and doesn't try to do too much.
- Personally, I dont think there is any active player who is capable of hitting for that many games the way the game is played today, but if there was anyone who might come close, Id say Ichiro, Joe Mauer, Derrek Lee, Albert Pujols, Miguel Cabrera or possibly Freddy Sanchez. Each has shown the ability to hit consistently and steadily.
- either ichiro or jimmy rollins. theyre both good, consistent hitters
- Jose Reyes
- derek jeter he looks like everyday he hits and has already have a 25 game hit streak this year and has i think a 17 or 18 game hit streak rigth know so i think he wow another yankee great maybe can do it
- Not even God can do that.
- Ichiro has the best shot.
- Derek Jeter, Jimmy Rollins, or Ichiro. Ichiro has had a number of 10+ and 20+ game hit streaks. Sooner or later, he'll combine a few of those streaks together to make one big one. I'd say he has the best shot of getting it.
- JOE MAUER BEST PLAYER EVER THATS HOW.
