2. none steroid wasnt around when Joe D aka Yankee Clipper was playing. heck, steroid only began to appear late 1970s.

4. Attn Ming...how do you explain all the males that have existed before the 1970s then? Anabolic steroids are male sex hormones eg testosterone. To answer the Q, anabolic steroid testing in sports didn't exist during DiMaggio's playing days.

6. Why ask this, in his era there probably as many steroids avaliable as there are now. Why did you ask this anyway? Did you think he got his record hit streak by steroids? In the 50's the only steroids were given by doctors for medical reasons.
