Can major league baseball players choose their own bat boys?

I currently am a high-rated baseball prospect and will declare for the draft next year. As a homosexual, I hope to be the first openly-gay athlete in professional sports. I was wondering if major league baseball lets players pick their own bat boys? I have a very special boi in my life and I would love for him to be my bat boi
