- Anyone missing this should not be allowed to watch a baseball game. The answer is c) 56. Now, tell me who was the pitcher who stopped the streak, and the third baseman who made two great plays? And how many straight games did have hits after the streak was broken. And for a Super Bonus, how long a hitting streak did he have with the San Francisco Seals? Bob
- EDIT: That's some good trivia there, Bob. If I remember correctly, Jim Bagby stopped it, and Ken Keltner made two good plays. I don't remember how long it continued after that, I think 25 games? And I have absolutely no clue for the other one. C) 56 Games Unbelievably easy. I hope it wasn't trivia -- if it was, you REALLY need to make these tougher. - C) 56 He also had 17 games after that, leaving him hitless in 1 game out of 74.
- C of course.
- He was stopped by Al Smith and Jim Bagby of the Indians on July 17. I know because my brother was born on July 17. He hit in 17 games after, and I believe, but am not sure, that he had a streak of 70 games in the minors.
