In major league baseball, how many teams have home-town players?

In kansas city or houston or say chicago; how many major league baseball players actually can call the city their hometown?

1. Well if what your asking is did the players grow up, or live in the city in which they now play the answer is yes. A couple of the top of my head would be Jeff Francouer from Atlanta, and Joe Mauer who is from St. Paul and plays for the Twins.
2. What do you mean? It is their home town. Why would they call it "A Home Game" If it wasn't a home town?
