Who is the starting quarterback of the New York Yankees?

Since today is opening day of baseball, I would like to fit in with my friends and have a somewhat reasonable knowledge of baseball. Therefore, so I will have someone to cheer for, who is the starting quarterback of the NY Yankees? Thanks!

  7. There's no quarterback in baseball, that's football. You probably want to know the pitcher, who is CC Sabathia.

  14. They don't know yet (you're probably going to have to wait until around the Super Bowl to find out). However, they do know some stuff. Since their squad is hitting more touchdowns, and making more three-pointers, while at the same time getting several penalty kicks a game, they might have a chance at going to the World Baseball Classic, but they will have to make it past the Stanley Cup, first. And if you were wondering, the average baseball game lasts four periods, and if it gets rained out, and will last probably two quaters.

  25. By Quarterback, if you mean someone who throws the ball to a hitter, that's called a Pitcher, & I would say the best pitcher is Roger Clemens. If you mean someone who throws the ball to his teammate, it's either Derek Jeter, A-Rod, or Ruth.
