Joe DiMaggio

What song do the New York Yankees play every time they score a run at home?

It sounds almost like a church bell: "Ding-dong-dang-dong. Dong-dang-ding-dong." It can be heard in the opening track of ESPN/Tommy Boy's Jock Jams: Volume 4, but the Yankees have it by itself, which means it's most likely a song. The song is definitely NOT "New York, New York." Sinatra's piece is only played after each Yankee win. Likewise, Liza Minnelli's version is played after a Yankee loss. But the song I was looking for only plays when the Yankees score a run.

  1. I think New york New york ............
  2. I'm torn on this one for if it's as Jamkie says, I'd love to hear it. But on the other hand, I'm a Ranger/Red Sox fan first and foremost, so I'd just as soon not hear it at all, whatever it may be.
  3. I know the song that you're asking about. I could be wrong, but maybe whoever recorded the first track of Jock Jams got the song from the Yankees, and maybe it isn't part of a song? Just a thought.
  4. i know the song you are asking about but have no clue what the name is. you can send an email to ask questions about music played at yankee stadium from this page: http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/nyy/help/faq.jsp#music
