Why does soccer (football) have so many subcategories for the same sport...? Why is there so many subcategories for the same sport? It should just be one category called football (soccer). There's 2010 World Cup, 2006 World Cup (both just sports events), Argentinian Football (Soccer), Brazilian Football (Soccer), French Football (Soccer), Mens Premiere League (Italy), Mens Premiere League (Latin America), Mens Premiere League (other), Other Soccer, Scottish Football (Soccer), UEFA Champions League, Womens Premiere League? ??? Why does yahoo need to put all these subcategories all for the same sport? Its ridiculous! For the basketball section its just listed as basketball. Theres no subcategory for NBA, WNBA, 2009 NBA Championship, 2008 NBA Championship, College Basketball, FIBA, or anything else. For Cricket its just cricket. No subcategories, no World Cricket cup, no lists of all the different countries for cricket, no womens cricket, no Indian Cricket, no English Cricket, no Jamaican cricket NOTHING. Just cricket. For the baseball section its just baseball with no subcategories. No, MLB section, no World Baseball Classic section, so softball section, no Japanese baseball section, no minor leagues baseball section, no little leagues baseball section, no 2009 World Series section, no 2008 World Series section, no 2007 World Series section, no Yankees section. JUST BASEBALL. For the hockey section its just hockey! No NHL section, no Stanley Cup Section, no Canadian Hockey section, no lists of other leagues across the world for hockey. JUST HOCKEY For Rugby its just rugby. No English Rugby, no Australian Rugby, no Rugby World Cup, JUST RUGBY! For Running its just running. For the Olympics section its just olympics. No 2008 Olympics, no 2004 Olympics, no Summer Olympics, no Winter Olympics. Just Olympics! SAME FOR ALL THE OTHER SPORTS EXCEPT SOCCER! ect ect Why does soccer need all these subcategories for the same exact sport with the same rules. Its just a field with a goal net on each side with players trying to kick the ball into the goal. SIMPLE! Do you thinks its fair or right that soccer gets all this special treatment with all the unnecessary sections for soccer? I think it would only be one section. Its not fair for all the others sports sections!
