All Time Home Run List Knowledge Base
What was the all time home run list like when Babe Ruth retired? I know Babe Ruth has 714 home runs and retired in 1935, but to put it in perspective, who had the second most career home runs at the time he retired? I imagine that 714 was far and beyond any other player had ever had. I'd like to see a top 5 list or top 10 as of 1935. It would really put in perspective what a feat 714 was and still is.
Most underrated home run hitter of all time? I'm going to have to go with Jim Thome on this one. I don't usually go that current on my all time picks, but the guy has a shot at 600 this season and no ones saying anything. I think there are plenty of other underrated people on the all time list. Who do you think is the most underrated? I figure we can do this in honor of tonight's home derby home run derby* @ sarrafzedehkhoee - 27 in the heart of the deadball era is really impressive. I have to assume those were mostly, if not all in the park home runs, which makes that even more impressive. Great pick, I did not realize that. @ Even - Killebrew is also a great one. He was probably my second pick behind Thome Great answers so far. Keep them coming. Evan* I'm terrible with the typos today
Best Home run hitter of all time and why? In your opinions who do you think is the best home run hitter of all time? I have to go with Babe Ruth on this one, even though Barry Bonds has the most career home runs, I wouldn't put him on the top three list because of is alleged steroids that he took. Now a lot of people will say Aaron is the true home run champ since he's second on the list after Bonds, but if you look at some stats you'll realize that Ruth is the best. Ruth career games: 2503 Ruth Career At-Bats: 8398 Ruth Career Home Runs: 714 Aaron career games: 3298 Aaron career at-bats: 12364 Aaron career home runs: 755 So if Ruth had the same at-bats and games played as Aaron did then he would defenitely be way higher then 755 career homes runs. Opinions?
Do you think Aroid will break Bonds record? I mean hes only 34 years old. hes 9th on the all time home run list (prob will be 8th by the end of the season, maybe 7th) but will his body break down before he hits 763?
Latinos and Blacks to be the hume run kings? Yesterdady Barry bond got as first in home run list of all time with 756, probably will get to 800 with two more seasons. Hank Aaron 2dn with 755, Babe Ruth 714* But Alex is projected to get there soon. And Pujols has been the fastest to hit the number of hume runs he has in less years. Will Latinos and Blacks rule? The asterisk to 714* of Babe Ruth was because his home runs were affirmative action home runs. He did not face any black of Latino players, which made it easier for him. Why would you say if I have a problem with that? Sure not, I am Dominican.
Where is A-Rod in your all time greatest players list? I think he will certainly go down as one of the best players of all time..but where does he fit in your list? Besides all the steroids stuff. It's becoming more and more clear he's going to hold the record for most home runs in the history of baseball too. So what are your opinions?

who are the active major league baseball walk-off home run leaders? I know that David Ortiz has six, and I know the top 12 all-time, only Barry Bonds is among that group with ten. Jimmie Foxx, Stan Musial, Babe Ruth, Frank Robinson and Mickey Mantle are the all-time leaders with 12. But I want to know the current active all-time leaders list.
home run/at bat record. new top 10 list? ok, im not good at math, so i need a little help on this one. I am not asking for the current HR/at bat list. What i am curious about is if everyone had as many at bats as the all time at bat leader (pete rose right? with just over 14,000) and kept their current hr/at bat pace (or the pace they retired with) what would the top 10 list be? Just at bats, not plate apperances. thanks in advance for your help
What do baseball journalists say about the Home Run record ? Is there any sort of a debate about who could pass Aaron and Bonds in the HR record list ? Compiling a few stats, it is found that: H. Aaron hit 755 HRs in 3298 games (32.8 HRs/game) during 23 seasons and retired at 42. B. Bonds has 734 / 2860 (35.0) in 21 seasons and is currently 42. A-Rod has 464 / 1746 (35.7) in 13 seasons and is 31. A. Pujols has 250 / 933 (41.7) in 6 seasons and is 27. If the A's stay healthy long enough, they should both pass 755. At their current pace, playing until 42 would lead them to 857 (A-Rod) and 875 (Pujols) respectively. If Pujols played 23 seasons like Aaron did, he'd reach 1000 ! But he'd be 45 at that time... My guess is that A-Rod might break the record because its pace is higher than Bonds' or Aaron's and he started younger. Pujols might not keep his 40+ pace but high 30s will be enough to get past them all. Of course, this is statistically-wise only not taking injuries into account. Also if A-Rod goes to the NL, his pace might go down.
Does the new century need it's own list of stats and greats? It's the 21st century. Do YOU know who has hit the most home runs? I don't. Oh, I could find out, but doesn't each century deserve its own list of statistics and of great players? Even the 20th century was mashed together with the 19th, which was the dinosaur days of baseball. If baseball is played for 500 years, of course 3,000 hits and 500 HRs will seem mundane. There will be scores of players with those totals. Does it seem fair that if in the 21st century only 20 players hit 500 HRs that some won't make the hall because 500 HRs SEEMS to be common? I'd like to see the 21st century stats kept separately, as the All-Time list won't suffer a bit. It will always be there. Your thoughts?
A repost of the top 10 RHH Regs of all time baby....but wait where am I? RHH: What do you think of my top 10 RHH users of all time? Note this list isnt all just about ones knowledge, it also has to do with the contribution they have made to the section. 10. Talib Fiasco- This user had the shortest time span here, but his presence was felt with his humor. Talib was very knowledgeable when it came to hip hop and inspired many young users. He might have had one of the biggest fan clubs in RHH history. 9. Metal Quality- The oldest reg to make the RHH hall of fame. He might be one of the most knowledgeable regs this site has ever seen, but the only thing that held MQ back was the way he conducted himself. He is loved by few and hated by many, but nobody can take away what he has given this section. 8. Trylemma- Who else could have brought you such a detailed list of Top 100 albums and etc. This guy has taken a lot of time to help educate the users that are involved in this section. A long his way he has picked up numerous enemies but he has never changed his ways. He is a highly knowledgeable reg. 7. PurplePeopleEater (PPE)- This user might be known as the most controversial user of all time. He is very knowledgeable in hip hop.His popularity rose to superstar status due to his ability to win multiple beefs. Including some of the biggest beefs we have ever seen in RHH history. Ruckfules vs PPE is one that nobody will forget. He is also known as the Beef King by many. 6. BKS- BKS was a highly underrated reg in the RHH section. His knowledge rivaled some of the top users of all time and his opinion was always highly regarded by every reg. He was a well loved user that was very open minded. There isnt a song that this guy hasnt heard. 5.Level8- The guy with the yoda avatar. Level8 has been around for several years. He is a highly knowledgeable reg who goes unseen by many of the average users. He stays out of the nonsense that occurs and that has hurt his popularity over the years but nothing takes away from what this user knows. He has set his mark on the RHH section. 4. Cap- Cap is by far the greatest reg in RHH history when it comes to production. This guy simply knows it all. He has clashed with the great mech several times and right along with PPE, he is known as one of the greatest Beefers we have ever seen. Cap could arguably be the most knowledgeable reg we have ever witnessed. 3. Cyrpt- Here lies the greatest E-Beefer to ever type on a keyboard. Never has anyone put more users to shame than Crypt. He has battled some of the top regs of their time and shut everyone up. Its tough to say who was the better E-Beefer between Cyrpt, PPE, and Cap but my vote goes to this guy. Oh and did I mention that his knowledge of hip hop reign supreme from all others beside Mech. 2. Frumdamentalz- Every bodies most loved user. He gave us the Top 100 rappers list, The top 100 producers list....etc. This guy was the main cause for the glory days back in 2008-2009 for the RHH Section. His legacy will never be forgotten and in some eyes he is viewed as the most knowledgeable reg of all time. 1. Mechanical- Without a doubt the greatest reg of all time. He was been number 1 on the leader boards for years now. (Even though latj is currently number one, he creation of multiple accounts has made her record has tainted as Barry Bonds home run record). Mech has created a blog site that changed life around the RHH section. Every reg has visited this site and taken a major portion of what they have learned from this site. The time spent to help educate others is not comparable to any other reg. Mech is easily the most knowledgeable reg to step into the RHH Section. Feel free to make your own list and mess with the one i made. I was searching through some of my previous made lists and found this who made this crap. WHY AM I NOT ON HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aaron you are obviously retarded, read the last paragraph there smart guy. I didnt write this.
Who will hit #10,000 for the Sox? The Chicago White Sox are #15 on the all-time list of home runs. Their illustrious franchise has socked a grand total of 9,988, starting with Frank Shugart on 4/29/1901 and continuing up to Alexei Ramirez on October 3rd of last year. So, who do you think will smack #10,000 for the Pale Hose? Go ahead and make your picks now. If you're feeling creative, give me a scenario (and be entertaining about it). I'll have to choose a Best Answer long before the home run actually happens, but feel free to brag about your answer if you eventually get it right. Interestingly, of all the 16 pre-expansion franchises, the White Sox have hit the second-fewest homers. Only the Minnesota Twins (nee Washington Senators) have hit fewer. The Twins are at 9,510 right now, so they should reach #10,000 in 2 or 3 years. Rest assured, I'll be asking a Y!A question about that event when it gets closer to happening. #17 on the all time list is the Texas Rangers, who have smacked 7,573 round-trippers, by far the most of any expansion team. Unfortunately, it will be a good few years before Texas approaches 10,000.
All time MLB underrated team? Pretty simple, all 8 positions, a starter, and a reliever. C: Ted Simmons. This is a bit tricky as Brian Downing and Joe Torre, just like Simmons, have HoF cases. Simmons stuck as a catcher, though, so I'll give him the nod here. Middle of the road defensively, but hit 248 HR's as primarily a catcher, and was a suburb contact hitter with a BB/K ratio of 1.23 in his career. In 1974, in 662 PA's, he only struck out 35 times. Torre was a better overall hitter, but his lack of longevity at the spot hurts him here. 1B - Jeff Bagwell. Weird to have him on here so soon? I think years of playing in Houston, away from the spotlight, really made us forget how awesome Bags really was. He hit 449 HR playing his career in a complete pitcher park, he OPS'd .948, good for a 149 OPS+. While one can argue the usefulness of good defense at first, he had a +66 FRAA. His WARP-3 on baseball prospectus is a 97.2, and baseball projection's historical WAR database lists him as the 35th best position player ever, ahead of Pete Rose, Paul Molitor, and Reggie Jackson. He'll make the Hall of Fame, but he was nowhere near appreciated enough in his day. 2B - Lou Whitaker. Really, him or Bobby Grich fits here. Whitaker was an outstanding defensive 2B (+210 FRAA in his career), and a .290 EqA. He also hit 244 HR and had a WARP-3 on BP of 103.3 (!). Previously mentioned baseball projection's historical WAR database has him as the 54th best player of all time with a lowball projection of his defense, ahead of Brooks Robinson, Barry larkin, and Tony Gwynn. He didn't even get 5% of the vote on his first ballot. Criminal. 3B: Ron Santo. One of those "Hall of Very Good" people, except, you know, he was better than very good. Classic case of a player whose contributions in a pitching era was understated, Santo posted a career line of .277/.362/.464 with 342 HR. While not an awesome defender, he was more than adequate. In BProj's historical database, he's less than 3 wins above replacement behind Brooks Robinson. Robinson is considered an all time great. A victim of when perception doesn't meet facts. SS: Jack Glasscock. Insert joke here. With the way history has overrated so many SS's, the fact that he's not in the Hall is crazy. In an era marred by crappy players (the 1800's), Glasscock was one of the best fielders, posting a +159 FRAA. With a career .711 OPS in the deadball era, he wasn't half bad at hitting, either. Why's he not in the hall? .290 BA. To further state the ridiculousness of BA, if 69 more balls in his 7500+ PA career found a hole instead of a defender, he hits .300 and makes the Hall of Fame. Sad. LF - Tim Raines. SABRnerd's current HoF project. Classic case of a guy who was unbelievably efficient in everything. Highest SB% in history. .386 OBP. 170 HR. .308 EqA. 94.2 WARP-3. 79 on BProj's WAR list, ahead of Ozzie Smith, Home Run Baker, and Robbie Alomar. Looks likely to miss out on Hall. What a shame. CF - Jim Wynn. Surprise, another 60's player underrated. In 1969, when MLB finally lowered the mound, Wynn ripped off a .269/.436/.507 line. Makes you wonder what his numbers may have been if pitchers didn't get to throw off a mountain. Ended his career with 291 HR and a HoF worthy 68.2 WARP-3. About equal on BProj with Dave Winfield. RF - Dwight Evans. Can someone please get this man back on the Hall ballot? Hard to imagine a Boston player could be so unappreciated, but this is exactly what happened to Evans, who was making his mark with the Red Sox right as Fred Lynn and Jim Rice did the same. Ended up a way better player than both, ranks 95th on the WAR database. Also has a 70.5 WARP-3. Hit 385 HR's as a righty in Boston (Fenway's a surprisingly hard park to hit HR's in for a righty), and a career .272/.370/.470 line. A .299 EqA over a 10,500+ PA career is pretty damn good. Somehow, Jim Rice made the hall, Evans didn't. SP - Bert Blyleven. This is a no brainer. Blyleven ranks 5th in all time strikeouts. Somehow gets compared to Jack Morris as a Hall of Fame candidate, and even more insanely, is considered by some to be LESS worthy. Some quick hitter numbers for both: (Innings, ERA, K, BB) Blyleven: 4970, 3.31, 3701, 1322 Morris: 3824, 3.90, 2478, 1390 Ranks ahead of Christy Mathewson, Bob Gibson, Nolan Ryan, Steve Carlton, among others, in BProj's database. He may not be elected to the Hall of Fame. RP: Lee Smith. Tough to determine, because saves, who cares? That being said, he struck out almost a batter an inning, kept his walks down, and was highly efficient in a career full of important innings. Tough to measure relievers, but he probably should be a Hall of Famer.
If you are gonna make a list of the 50 greatest Chicago Bears of all-time how could you leave Devin Hester off? I found this on the Chicago Sun-times website. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/bears/2031108,CST-SPT-bestbears05.article Although it is a hard list to dispute, it had one GLARING omission to me and that was Devin Hester. Its one thing if he didnt make the list of the greatest NFL players of all time. Ok. But when it comes to the home team, not all of the rules that would qualify you one of the greatest NFL players of all time would apply. 1. He holds the NFL ( which means the Bears too) for most kickoffs returned for a touchdown in one season. 2. At one time held the record for the longest play for a touchdown with a 108yard run. 3. Is now becoming a double duty player. 4. Almost single handedly scored the points for the Bears and made the Bears seem better than they were that year 5. First player in a Super Bowl to return a opening kickoff for a touchdown. 6. NFC's player of the month 7. Forced teams to not kick to him and changed the complexion of alot of games. So with that resume, how could you leave him off? Considering it has been a long time since a Bears player has accomplished THAT much. Then tell me how in the world did Lance Briggs make the team??? Evan M is an idiot and still hasnt answered my question of what in world has Lance Briggs done to make the list besides cry about getting more money and holding out until he became overpaid??
Why isn't Jason Giambi suspended or not getting enough heat from the press and everyone else? Why isn't Jason Giambi suspended? He admitted he took steroids during his prime years when he was jacking up 30-40 HRs a year in Oakland...why isn't he suspended also, does that mean all the numbers he put up will be removed from the books...isn't he on the top 500 Home run hitters of all time list? are they gonna take away the AL MVP they gave him? why are people sympathetic dealing with Giambi! why are people giving him the benefit of the doubt??? like saying he took then when steroids weren't tested for or substances weren't banned Just like Bonds he took steroids. PERIOD. both are guilty! No one accepted those excuses when it comes to Bonds...they said he took steroids. PERIOD...doesn't matter, he cheated and I agree! Athletes are responsible for whats in their system...both of them cheated! More than regarding the suspension, I'm shocked that Giambi isn't getting nearly the heat or negative press that Bonds is getting EVEN AFTER Giambi admitted to doing steroids wow
Calling all real estate agents, please help a first time home buyer!!!? Long story short, my husband and I have gotten pre approved for our first home and have finally found the one worth fighting for. We are about to go in and fill out our first offer on this home, but we are not sure what a reasonable price would be. The basic structure of the house is beautiful, the exterior well maintained, but every single floor, and I do mean EVERY one in this 33 yr old house will need to be replaced, new air conditioning unit within the next year or two, new central heat, chimneys cleaned, wall paper taken off and repainted, and appliances eventually updated. The neighborhood typically runs about 140k and the house was listed at 116k. We would like to include new carpets and closing costs in the offer so what would a reasonable first offer be on this house? We are approved at 110k so we cant go beyond that and would like to keep it at 105k with carpets and closing costs, but closing costs are more important to us. Please, any advice would be great!

Who gets YOUR vote as *best* MLB player of all time? I prefer to categorize MLB players into 3 different categories: 1) Pre 70's 2) Modern Era Clean players 3) Steroids Tainted players It's my personal belief that the players back in the day just weren't physically as gifted as players are now for many, MANY reasons (WW2, jobs, physical training routines, etc.). Not to discredit their achievements, but no one will convince me that Babe Ruth is on the same level as Ken Griffey Jr... pound for pound, haha. With that said, it's also my opinion that players who cheated by using steroids do not deserve the same recognition as those who did it legit. Yes, *Bonds and *A-Rod are very gifted players, in fact they're TOPS. But, I believe a nice * next to their name fits the crime. My number 1 All-Around Player of All Time is Ken Griffey Jr. "The Kid" has numerous batting titles (homers), MVP awards, All Stars, Gold Gloves, 600 Home Run Club, oh, and the All Century Team. That's just the beginning of a long list of credentials. He's also been a very respectable guy to the media, is a family man, and there's zero suspicion of steroid use to this day. It's a true shame for not only him but also the game that Ken Griffey Jr. has been injured since leaving Seattle because the MLB really needs a home run icon who isn't tainted with steroid use. Who's your #1?
alot of Bonds Arod talk so.. who is the greatest home run hitter ever? I'm sure I'll get a zillion A-Rod posts here but think a little deeper than what you read on sportsillustrated.com.. all time A-Rod is in the mid-twenties on the list and could get injured and not hit another homer.. thus that arguement loses credibility (not that I'd ever wish that to happen I dig A-Rod just responding ahead of time) how about some numbers? Babe Ruth (22 Seasons) HR (714), SO (1330), BA (.342) Hank Aaron (23 Seasons) HR (755), SO (1383), BA (.305) Barry Bonds (22 Seasons) HR (755), SO (1530), BA (.298) Willie Mays (22 Seasons) HR (660) SO (1526), BA (.302) Ken Griffey Jr (19 Seasons) HR (589) SO (1560) BA (.290) Alex Rodriguez (14 Seasons) HR (500) SO (1487) BA (.305) to update Alex Rodriguez at 20 years.. his stats would be (assuming he keeps present pace) these are formulated by taking the present # and dividing by 14 (years he's played) to get the per year.. then multiplied by 20 to get a 20 year idea HR (714) SO (2124) BA (.305) like I said keeping current pace.. means he'll keep his current average
Do you think this pitcher is one of the best off all time? This is from my video game, where would he fall on the list of the best pitcher's off all time? Michael Martinez: 591-112 Record 2.11 Career ERA 200 Complete Games 102 Shutouts 6297.1 Innings Pitched 4664 Hits (Given Up) 1652 Walks (Issued) 5587 Strikeouts 1.00 WHIP 24,936 TBF RIght hadners hit .199 Left Handers hit .208 .255 Career Batting Average (When I Played with the Dodgers) 18 Home Runs 65 RBI 23 SB *28x All Star *24 Time Cy Young Award WInner *Gotten a win over every MLB Team at least once
Can you name 1 accomplishment from each player of your starting lineup of 2009? Name a record breaker, career milestone or just something cool for a player in the 2009 starting lineup for your team. Pitchers are optional So it would look like this Jeter:Became Yankees all time leader Damon:Tied career high home runs with 24 Teixeira: Most rbis in the AL A-Rod:Passed Reggie Jackson,Rafael Palmeiro, and Harmon Killebrew and is tied with Mark McGuire for 8th place on the home run list Matsui:most home runs for the Yankees as a full time DH Posada:Hit the first homerun of new Yankee Stadium Cano: Had over 200 hits Swisher: Pitched a scoreless relief inning Cabrera: Hit for the cycle Pitchers: Sabathia: 1500 strikeouts Burnett: 100 wins Rivera:500 saves
Is your favorite player also the best player on your favorite team? My favorite player, Ken Griffey Jr, isn't even on my favorite team. As a 13-year-old die-hard Reds fan, I grew up watching Griffey, hitting home runs and chasing 500, 600, and passing up players on the all-time list. But how about you? Who is your favorite player? Is he the best player on your favorite team.

Just like Bonds he took steroids. PERIOD. both are guilty! Athletes are responsible for whats in their system...both of them cheated! I'm shocked that Giambi isn't getting nearly the heat that Bonds is getting EVEN AFTER Giambi admitted to doing steroids wow
Which programs do I actually NEED in this list...please help? I've already configured my start up programs and start-up time is so much faster. My computer is only a few weeks old and I know there are programs that are necessary for performance. But I've noticed a LOT of things running in the background. I'd like to know which of these my computer could stand to do without, you know, for faster running time. I'm running Windows Vista Home (Premium) with McAfee installed. I use Internet Explorer. Should I run away from home(details inside)? READ WHOLE THING BEFORE ANSWERING!!! First of all I am 13, and don't say stuff like im too young to be on here. I want to run away becuase my parents always yell at me for stuff my brothers do, I suck at school, families embarrassing, i get no respect from anyone even when i give them respect, get purposely annoyed by brothers, brothers have no life and play ps3 all day then when something breaks i have to fix it becuase my parents think im a geek or something and a whole bunch of other things which im not going to list. I also thought about killing myself after I got yelled at all the time for stuf my brothers do like messing up the internet router when my brother messed it up, but i desided not too and then I started thinking about running away from home. I also have about 200 dollars and a whole bunch of takeout stores near me like Chinese food stores and pizza stores that i can go to. Theres also a CVS where i can buy water. I also dont care if the cops catch me and I go to Juevie becuase being there is much better than living at my house.
Alex Rodriguez? My theory is that Jose Conseco is right when he says Alex Rodriguez did use stereoids. Jose Conseco was shocked that the mitchell report didnt name Alex on the list, but I feel that they are waiting until he is close to breaking the all time home run record before there will be investigations regarding Alex Rodriguez and stereoids. Thats what they did for Barry Bonds. There were accusations that bonds used stereoids for many years, but it got really serious right when he was close to breaking all those records. Do you think my theory is correct?
Why is Baseball so numbers concious? Should it be? Sadaharu Oh hit 800 plus home runs, shattering Aaron's record, but no one knows of him outside of Japan. The argues against him being the all time home run leader are obvious - smaller parks, different caliber of pitchers, etc. That's always the case though with any attempt to rate players by historical players. Unless they play against each other, in the same environments, you have to look at the variables. There's park size, juiced ball, dead ball, pitcher caliber, fitness regimen, steroids, rotation depth, average innings a starter pitches, pitchers used per game, distance to mound, the list is seemingly endless. That said, is it accurate to weigh someones ability as a ball player based on these magic numbers we hold dear? Does the fact that Mussina did what he did in the steroid era without a dominant fastball mean anything to someone who would say, "he doesn't match up at all against the numbers Tom Seaver put up"? No other sport cares about their magic numbers as much as baseball does. Maybe the fantasy isn't the numbers Bonds and A Rod and McGwire put up, but rather the idea that all these records have inherent statistical meaning to the sport.

Why do housewives/homemakers always include cleaning the house in their list of duties? I noticed it in some of the answers to a recent question, and I see it every time a question like this comes along. Seriously, how do they think that the homes of working people get cleaned? Sure, a few can hire maids and gardeners, but the average working Joe (or Jane) has to clean the house, shop for groceries, pay the bills, and so forth. Do they really need kudos for that? Do they really need to stay home full time just to run the vacuum? I will give them childcare and homeschooling to some extent, but working mothers have to do those things too, or at least make those arrangements for their children to be where they need to be. My mom homeschooled my sister while working full-time. And working moms have to take time off to take the kids to the doctor. And SINGLE working moms have it the toughest. At least if there is a father at home, it is assumed he does some of the household duties if his wife works. But single working mothers have to do it all, all by themselves. They do everything a SAHM does, but with 40 hours less a week to do it in. So anyway, I'm curious to know why you SAHMs always include basic adult duties (housekeeping, billpaying, yardwork) in your list of reasons of why you need to stay at home. Note: I have no problem with SAHMs. I just get irritated with them sometimes when they act like they're the only ones who have a house to clean and bills to pay. The question whose answers set me off: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApyfKnyn9gRWguNtbGuKG4rSDH1G;_ylv=3?qid=20100107173019AAFtN3x

Is anyone else getting the run around from Chase Home Finance in regards to the MHA program? Last July, I contacted Chase Home Finance and asked if I could apply for the Obama plan to keep my home out of foreclosure. I had gone thru a nasty divorce 3 years earlier, laid off from my job and took one with a massive pay cut, and was unable to afford the almost $1000/month mortgage. I was only bringing home $1424 a month and trying to raise three teenage daughters with no financial support from their father. *The loan was taken out when I was married.* Now, at the start of the trial payments, I was on workman's comp as well and explained that to them. They wanted a copy of my divorce decree and a letter about the WC. I faxed that to them ASAP. I then began my trial payments and didn't miss a single one and was on time. In January, I received the "final" paperwork which I signed immediately and sent in with all requested documentation. I fulfilled every request that was listed in the modification request. When I didn't hear back from them, I called and they told me my paperwork was incomplete because my ex husband didn't sign the paperwork. I explained to them AGAIN I was divorced and even in their own contract it clearly states he doesn't have to sign it since he didn't get the house in the divorce. I pointed out the section and subsection of this information in their OWN CONTRACT. After me calling repeatedly, I finally get a call back saying they need a copy of my divorce decree for a THIRD time along with a quit claim deed signed by my ex husband. I gathered the documentation and faxed it in again. I then spent the next three months calling and asking "What do I need to send in as a payment?"..."We can't take a payment from you. There is a stop on your account because they are reviewing your information." I even asked "Are you going to try and charge me late charges or declare me delinquent even though I keep trying to pay you?"..."No ma'am. There is a stop on your account. There is nothing you and I can do." I then receive a letter from them on June 7th, 2010, that my modification was denied because I "requested a withdraw from consideration" or "failed to accept the Trial Period Plan or Home Affordable Modification within the required time period". When I called Chase, they said I hadn't made a payment since Sept. of 2009 and that I owed them over $10,000 including late charges. When I asked why the modification had been denied, they informed me that it was because my ex husband refused to sign thus nullifying the application. WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS???? I then explained everything that has happened since July of 2009 and broke down crying. I've never been more frustrated and more upset. How many hoops can one jump thru trying to fix a situation and only getting the run around? Anyone else with this problem?
trying to sell home neighbors kids scaring off all my buyers!? I lived in a very nice quiet neighborhood culdesac for 15 years. So quiet you could hear a pin drop day or night. This past winter a family with 9 kids (yes 9!) across the street moved in. No I generally like kids, but 9!?! Anyhow to make matters worse, they are all home schooled by mom. The family is generally nice, but they come from the country out in the sticks. So they are loud and the kids play hard. About two weeks ago, I listed my house for sale and each and every time a potential buyer shows up, mom send her fricken kids out to play. Again, they are loud! So after my thrird potential buyer left and mentioned all the wonderful kids, I walked across the stree and banged on their door and politely but firmly asked them to keep their kids locked away when I was showing my house. Was I wrong in doing this? Mom told me off, I told her off and threatned to sue! Her kids run ramped all over my property and screem and yell playing army and fake fighting with sticks. What can I do?
Does anyone know the Do Not Call phone number, to get my home phone off the list for sales people? My phone rings constantly with these telemarketers, they call me at 5 am and up until 10 pm, dinner time is a constant, at least 4 to 6 calls when it's time to sit and eat. My kids are fed up, I'm fed up, I can't see the phone number without my glasses, which I never have on when they call, so I'm constantly running to the phone thinking my kids are calling me, or work or maybe even a friend, but it's a telemarketer al the time. Don't these people understand that if we wanted to buy something we would look them up and call them? Who needs someone calling you to sell you something you have no intention of buying, who is paying these annoying people to bother hard working, tired people with phone calls all day? If you know the phone number for the DO NOT CALL LIST for both home and cell phone numbers, please let me have them, I'm in dire need!!! Thank you ahead of time. My phone is ringing right now, with an Unknown Name and number, while I'm typing this, can you believe this CR-P!

What kinds of people do you run into at work everyday? Every kind in the net! What kind are you, or what kinds of co-workers have you observed? (You can also be a visitor to such place to observe the employees.) 1. Tardy Ted - always late to work, with no good excuse 2. Grumpy Gus - never smiles, nothing ever pleases him 3. Breaker, Breaker - (also known as the "King of Breaks") keeps track of his breaks and lunches 4. Time Scout - watches the clock, waiting for quitting time or a break 5. Paycheck Only - I'm just here for a paycheck 6. It's O.K. - I don't care one way or the other; It's not my fault, it's not my problem 8. Dictator - tells people what to do all the time

downloaded IE7 now no browser at all-XP Home Ed SP2? I inst. IE7 -now I can't acess internet- get a black screen w/ yellow writing-like a system generated page-not the typical "page can't be displayed". Add/Rem pgms has IE7 listed-when I try to remove it screen flashes like 40 times real fast & computer restarts-and IE7 is still in the list. I tried "restore"-can't even get to the option of picking an earlier time to set-computer restarts by itself everytime-I can get on internet thru a netscape icon on desktop-Went to Windows update site-tells me I need IE5 or greater- Went to the link to get it but can't download anything-get a box that tells me to type a location to save the file to-not the "run-open-save" box. Would like my IE6 back-any suggestions would be most helpful. I am using someone else's computer to ask this.
Should I stay at home with my son, or push on through school? The main question seems to have an obvious answer, right? Well, it gets a little foggy to me once I start thinking about the details. My son is due to go live with his dad in the UK for 5 years come this summer. I started Cosmetology school last September, thinking that I could do it all. I have the support of my mom (whom we live with), and figured that she could pick up the slack when it came to watching my son, and with daycare and his schooling, I thought it would all work out. Around Thanksgiving I got really sick, and have stayed pretty poorly ever since. Around the same time, my mom found out she has fibromyalgia (she already has a laundry list of other health issues, this one is just the most recent, and most debilitating problem). I've missed a lot of school, and have been able to spend a fair bit of time with my son. I realized yesterday that I'm running out of time to spend with him, that summer is coming up fast, and before I know it, I'll be flying him over to England. He even said to me today that he loves spending time with me, and wishes I could be home all the time. That broke my damn heart. So, I've come up with a "plan" to spend time with my son, and not give up on my career plan, but it involves putting school on the backburner until after I send my son to England. I guess I'm just asking...do you think it's okay for me to take a leave of absence from school so that I can spend as much time with my son as possible before he leaves? He struggles with serious ADHD, and dyslexia, compounded with a slight speech delay. I feel like if I'm home with him, I can finally get things situated with myself (in regards to time management and getting myself into a routine). My mother's health is declining rapidly, and my dad lives in Colorado (he stationed there until he retires this November) and only comes home once a month at the least. Once my son moves to England, and my dad moves home from Colorado (early Fall), I am planning on moving to Texas to live with my boyfriend, but I feel like at the moment I need to take care of my family. My mom needs help (she owns and manages a salon) with mobility (last night I had to help her get her clothes off as she couldn't lift her arms above her head), and I need to spend time with my son before he moves. I feel like I've already missed so much school due to being sick/run down, that it would just be better to take a leave of absence so as not to miss any more school due to being sick...and it'll give me the time I need to get myself healthy, spend lots of quality time with my son (one thing about my school is that we are required to go to school on a Saturday, no excuses unless it's medical or legal, and you have to have a written note stating as much, so I miss Saturday's with my son, he spends his Saturday's in daycare), and help my mom out as much as I can until my dad can take my place...but I guess I'm just looking for some clarification. Should I just stay in school Tuesday-Saturday, and try to fill in the gaps? Or do I take care of my family, and just start back to school once I get transferred to Texas in the fall?

How did Ichiro get into the Home-Run Derby Nominee list? Any one know if it had anything to do with his stats or something cus he never hit that many homeruns. I still voted for him because he's my favorite player ever but still, what gives, if he makes it theres no way he will win. You can vote at MLB.com. Thats a good point about selling to the Japanese market never even thought of that. Thanks for the info

List of Home runs from 2003 to 2008? i need a list of all the home runs that have been hit at each stadium from 2003 to 2008... if you could just post the link, that'd be great. thanks!
When should I list my current home? I've been looking 4 mths to buy a home, have not seen ANYTHING I like. In MD something similar to my current home is running $450 for the same size. Even with what I would possibly make off of my home, I'd still end up paying more for the same thing. Some broker is trying to pressure me to list but why if there is nothing out there? Claims once I sell, I'll be motivated to find something. I want to wait until I start seeing homes I like.
Can I run Microsoft Office 2007 Professional with XP Home SP3? PLEASE - I have looked at many answers to similar questions and none have addressed exactly the issue I am after. I am not concerned with the other system requirements, as I meet all those. Does it run with XP HOME? I can see the requirements on the package list XP, but not XP HOME. It does not indicate "XP Professional", just XP. I hate to open the package unless I'm sure. Thank you for your help!

Trying to list all of our contents after our house fire? Hey, I need some help! We had a house fire and lost everything inside the home. Now I have to make list upon list of things that we owned so that we can replace them. I've gotten pretty far, but I'm sure that I'm missing things. Does anyone know of some way of helping me with this? I've gone to different shopping websites, like Walmart and Sears, but I'm running out of thoughts and am still sure that I am missing things! Any ideas?
Home run derby vs slam dunk contest? Which is better and why? I think the home run derby is a bit better only due to the star power. I'm glad to see that so many big names in baseball (at least they are big to baseball fans) come out to this event and participate. I'm sick of seeing the Joe Nobody's (for the most part) in the slam dunk contest every year. These aren't even big names to basketball fans. I know there are maybe one or two guys that are B-list guys, but where are the A-list guys like V. Carter, or Lebron when this contest comes around? The dunk contest is a bit more enjoyable due to creativity factor. But I give the slight edge to the home run derby based on the BIG name factor. What do you think?

RPG Maker XP will not run on Microsoft Vista Home Basic? I just got a new Vista computer running Windows Vista Home Basic. I downloaded RPG Maker XP from the Enterbrain website, Now I installed the RPG Maker XP and the RGSS-RTP stuff. Now when I started RPG Maker XP, I get an error message that RPG Maker XP has stopped working and that Windows is looking for a solution to the problem. I've tried Right-Clicking and going to properties and changing the compatibility to every Operating System it lists! It will not run and does the same thing. I tried installing the patch from the website but I got an error with that. If you have any idea how to help me please state everything you know. I am working on a very important game and I need to start working on it again ASAP. Thank you for your future answers.
What type of check are real estate companies going to do the tenants when renting a home? I've never rented a home listed by a realtor before and we are going to be selling our home and renting because rent in our area is about $1500 less than a house payment. I'm sure they run credit but what type of score are they looking for? Is it like a mortgage company where if your score isn't 720 you pay a higher rent or deposit? We've rented before, should I get a letter from our old landlord stating how wonderful and neat and clean we were?
