Have you ever visited the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in Cooperstown, NY? if you have-when? and what did you like best? if not, then do you ever plan on visiting? * i live within 5 hours, so i go several times a year.Very recommended for the avid baseball fan. *my most memorable time-One day two years ago, i met Yogi Berra, Pete Rose, Don Mattingly, Burt Sugar, Angelo Dundee, and John Schneider (from The Dukes Of Hazzard! LOL) all in one day. got pics with every one of them (autographed) Just shows-you never know what a day at The Hall will prove to be! and believe it or not;Sugar and Dundee were there promoting a book they wrote together titled: A Day At The Hall. (I Think)LOL I was wrong; the title of Burt Sugar book is "burt sugar; Baseball Hall Of Fame".
What are the baseball writers looking for when voting for a player for election in MLB's Hall of Fame? A baseball player retires from the game of baseball, and in 5 years, if he doesn't play in a baseball game in those 5 years, he becomes eligible for voting for voting by baseball's writers, but what are they looking for, stats wise, when voting whether or not to elect that player into MLB's Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. And of course, they get 15 years, where they can appear on the ballot, in case they aren't elected in the first year.
Is there an exhibit at the baseball hall of fame honoring the women of the All American Girls Baseball League? Though I know it's fictionalized, I've seen the movie "A League of Their Own" hundreds of times since it came out. At the end of the movie, the women are at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY for the grand opening of an exhibit on the AAGPBL. While obviously, the exhibit would honor real players, not those in the film -- does such an exhibit exist? I can't find anything on the Hall of Fame's website, and it was always something I wanted to see. Does this exist, or was it just for the movie? Does anyone who has been there recently know?

What kind of documents are required to enter Canada? I live in the Detroit metro area and am thinking about taking a trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY this summer. I would be driving and the most direct route is to enter Canada via the Blue Water Bridge at Port Huron and drive across Ontario to New York State. I haven't been to Canada in a long time and I know that the documentation that you need to enter has changed. Do you now need a passport or will your license and birth certificate be enough?
